Visit to the production plant of "The Gold of Zante"

Guests of the Island of Zakynthos can experience an unforgettable evening on this wonderful island by contacting their travel agent, hotel reception or us, directly in our office in Zakynthos info@thegoldofzante.ch.

Our guests will experience a typical but not an everyday evening with hosts of Greek friends, music, dance and extraordinary local cuisine, prepared and served by Greek experts.

We will visit the fascinating ceramics factory in Galero where one can gain a special insight into a tradition typical of the area and one of the major exports of this beautiful island.

Guest admission takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (from 6 pm until around 10 pm). The number of participants is restricted.

Our olive professor Dino (he studied in Graz, Austria and speaks excellent German) guides through the pressing of "The Gold of Zante" olives and gives a wealth of impressive and important information about a special olive oil and its influence on our health.

16.00	Collection of visitors at cases and hotels.
17.00	Visit to the best-known ceramics factory on Zakynthos near Galaro (in the midst of beautiful olive groves).
18.00	Congregation at the production plant for "The Gold of Zante". Welcome, with the locally traditional aperitif and Greek specialities. Followed by a tour through the plant under the guidance of the famous olive professor Konstantino Patrinis (German and English). Visit to the photo exhibition "The Gold of Zante - from the olive harvest to a unique olive oil". Tips and tricks on the use of olive oil in daily life.
19.30	Continuation to an authentic and unique Greek taverna for eating, dancing and drinking. An unforgettable Greek evening. The entire occasion will be captured by photographs, which will appear on of web site the very next day (so those left at home get an impression).
22.30	Return to hotel or base on the island.
