Healthy fat - through and through
The olive oil "The Gold of Zante" contains valuable and vitally
important minerals and a balanced proportion of so-called secondary plant
substances (polyphenols) and vitamin E.
Furthermore, olive oil contains a high level (74%) of simple unsaturated
fatty acids, which prevent the deposition of damaging LDL cholesterol.
Following medically proven dietary recommendations, these fatty acids
should make up over 1/3 of all consumed fatty acids as they make an important
contribution towards achieving the cholesterol balance (breakdown of LDL
cholesterol and maintenance of HDL cholesterol) and the total fat balance.
Olive oil allows you to consume the required quantity of simple unsaturated
fatty acids in your diet in an especially delicious way. Numerous excellent
recipes are available to achieve
this.
